"In December 2022, we hired Aaron's Concrete (aka, ACI Enterprise, llc) to pour a large patio in our backyard and widen our front driveway. The work was completed in a timely manner (at least by laid-back Florida standards) and we have been generally pleased with the work. We would use this company again.

It should be noted: we have no affiliation with Aaron's/ACI. We are just residential homeowners. We found ACI on Facebook and asked them to come out and give us an estimate. ACI (Mr. Aaron) responded promptly. He came to our house the next day to evaluate the job. He was polite and professional, and he presented us with a formal written bid for the work.

We actually called several contractors for this project. ACI's bid was fair and competitive, but frankly, it wasn't the cheapest. We initially accepted a cheaper bid from another contractor. Unfortunately, that contractor repeatedly fumbled the start of the job, and after several weeks of excuses and delays, we finally fired them. The next day, we contacted ACI to see if they were still interested in the job, and Mr. Aaron graciously accepted. Within just a few days, ACI was on the property and work was underway.

We were rather impressed with ACI's work ethic. In the past, we've encountered many contractors who start-and-stop, work half-days, and jump from site-to-site in an effort to keep multiple projects running concurrently. ACI didn't do that; they worked on our job rather religiously from start to finish (barring bad-weather days, of course).

There were a few minor delays (waiting on concrete truck availability, moving excavating equipment, fetching supplies/parts, etc.) but we were kept informed about the timeline as things progressed. We didn't have to spend much time wondering, “Where is our contractor today.” We were all on the same page throughout. When questions arose, our calls and texts were answered promptly. We find most contractors to be woefully deficient (even defiant) about maintaining good communications. ACI was way above standard on communication.

ACI also made a good effort to keep the jobsite clean – both during and after the job. When the job was complete, we had very little clean-up left to do. The new patio was basically ready to use and most of our things were already put back where they should be.

We were also happy to see Mr. Aaron (Gino) function as a primary worker of the crew; he is NOT a hands-off salesman who is just selling and subbing out jobs. And he is NOT an administrator conducting work with migrant crews. Gino actually does the work; he gets his hands dirty. He was right there, personally, donned in overalls and rubber boots, digging in the dirt and screeding concrete along with the others.

Our only cautionary note for prospective customers: Mr. Aaron is particularly passionate about his work and he dabbles in a number of construction disciplines (beyond pouring concrete). As a result, he is sometimes a bit too eager to expand simple projects beyond their original scope. Of course, this isn't unusual in the trades. Most contractors keep a sharp-eye-out for opportunities to negotiate contract additions/addendums during a job (to make a little more profit), but a sharp consumer knows to stand their ground and stick to the original contract. Overall, we give ACI a very respectable A- rating. They quickly responded to communications. They showed up without making (too many) excuses. They made an honest effort. They gave us a good finished job. They cleaned up their mess, and they charged a reasonable price. That automatically puts them in the top 10% of all contractors we've ever used. We would recommend ACI to our friends. They're legit."
